This project has emerged from time spent by a member of W4R in rural Tanzania, where
women told their stories simply and graphically. Women in South Wales have now
added their voices and images with further contributions from Liberia, Kenya and
the African diaspora in the UK. This gives a rarely heard voice to often overlooked
groups of women.
Our new Swansea "Pop up Shop " during International Women's Day week in March will
bring this all together by giving women the chance to use a range of volunteering
skills but also for those who wish to try out business ideas.
